Cockpit philosophy

More adjustment. Less restriction.

The E46 is a track-day hire car, not a caged competition car. That distinction is deliberate and clearly communicated.

Retained factory equipment

  • Factory adjustable front seat
  • Standard three-point seat belt
  • No roll cage
  • No fixed competition bucket seat
  • No racing harness

Why it matters

The original adjustable seating and restraint arrangement makes entry, exit and driver changeover simpler than a fixed competition cockpit. It also provides a wider range of seat adjustment for different heights and body sizes and may better suit some drivers who benefit from easier access or additional seating flexibility.

Individual suitability is confirmed before a booking. Circuit organiser rules and event requirements always take precedence.

E46 Arrive & Drive

Full day only. £715 Brands Hatch • £755 Lydden Hill.

The £700 base package includes the BMW E46, one full tank of fuel, preparation and Afiléon Motorsport trackside support. Standard circuit totals include the Gravesend return-travel allowance. Circuit entry and additional fuel are excluded unless stated.

Afiléon Motorsport remains with the car throughout the day. We monitor the vehicle between sessions and may pause or withdraw it from use if there is a safety or mechanical concern, a circuit instruction, or unreasonable abuse beyond normal track-day use. Other or outside-Kent circuits can be requested for a tailored quote.
